A recent publication by Johnson et al 1 . Prompted us to record our earlier findings from mass spectral studies of oligosaccharide (see ref.2). This investigation has shown the possibility of oligosaccharide sequencing by means of the mass spectra of their phenylozotriazoles and N‐arylglycosylamines.
