High resolution mass measurement established that the m / e 425 peak in the mass spectrum of 1,3‐bis‐(3‐ m ‐tolyl‐1, 2,4‐oxadiazol‐5‐yl)hexafluoropropane corresponds to [M CHNO]. This peak is absent from the mass spectrum of the para isomer.
