Low resolution mass spectra of a series of alkylphenyl‐1,3,2‐oxazaborolidines are reported. The characteristic fragmentations are shown to be an aid to the elucidation of the substituents in the 1,3,2‐oxazaborolidine ring by means of a ‘substituent shift’ technique.
