The 13 C NMR signals have been assigned for some ortho ‐carbonyl benzene‐selenenyl derivatives, COR.C 6 H 4 . Sex, where R = H, CH 3 , OCH 3 and OC 2 H 5 and X = Cl, Br, CN, SCN, SeCN and CH 3 . The effects of the nature of R and X have been discussed.
