Abstract The 13 C NMR spectrum of 6 H ‐pyrido[4,3‐ b ]‐5,11‐dimethylcarbazole has been re‐examined to confirm the assignments using normal decoupled and coupled INEPT techniques. The results indicate that there were several errors in previous assignments. J ( 13 C, 1 H) for the seven methine carbons have also been obtained.
