In this paper, we prove the existence of anti‐periodic solutions to a hyperbolic quasi‐linear hemivariational inequalities by using the Faedo–Galerkin method. Then, we investigate optimal control problems governed by the inequalities. Copyright © 2007 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
