Summary This article studies reachable set estimation for parameter uncertain systems with time delay. A new reachable set estimation method is proposed for nonlinear discrete‐time systems with parameter uncertainty and unknown but bounded disturbance. By analyzing Lyapunov‐Krasovskii functional, reachable set estimation is formulated to an optimization problem in terms of linear matrix inequalities. The proposed method not only can handle nonzero initial condition but also provide real‐time reachable set estimation. The effectiveness and superiority of the proposed method are illustrated by numerical simulations.
