From a sample of approximately 700 individuals, dating from the fourth to the thirteenth centuries, we selected seven cases of permanent hip dislocation and four hip subluxations. Finally, we try and correlate macroscopic features, their evolution and association with the main possible aetiologies: congenital, traumatic, tuberculous and paralytic.
