A passion for education runs in Vadim Revzin's family. Revzin's father, Samuel Revzin, started a progressive neighborhood school system, called School No. 16, in Belarus in 1981 that prioritized student interest and skill over a prescribed curriculum, and went on to be a successful model for education reform in the former Soviet Union.
