Marissa McYeng took a circuitous route to working with adult learners, originally intending to go into elementary school education, and then considering a career in library science. But when she enrolled at Montclair State University to earn her second master's degree, this time in educational leadership for higher education, and worked at an internship at Bloomfield College with adult learners, she realized she'd found her calling. After graduating, McYeng found a job at Bloomfield and worked her way up to her current role at the college, Assistant Director and Adult Learning Support Specialist.
