LOS ANGELES — The benefits of higher education extend beyond what is learned in the classroom. The opportunity to study abroad during their time in college can be a memorable experience for students, one that broadens their horizons. Community colleges might not be the institutions that come to most people's minds when thinking about rich study abroad experiences, but in fact, community colleges often offer students many options for an international experience.
