ATLANTA — With more than a quarter of current American undergraduates classified as adult students (27 percent of undergraduates are 25 years old or older), it is more important than ever to consider how the needs of adult learners are — and aren't — being met by our current higher education landscape. That was the message from a session on the urgency of the adult learner at the annual conference for the Association of American Colleges and Universities.
