After getting her bachelor's degree in theater from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2015, Ashlee Morel took a year off from school. Realizing what she wanted to do in her career and feeling that a B.A. wasn't enough, she was ready to get her master's degree. “I knew that between undergrad and grad school, I needed the year to really figure myself out before committing fully to going to school for another two to three years.” Her original plan for her year off didn't pan out though; Morel was going to teach abroad, but unfortunately had to stay home.
