Brooke Scharlott knew she'd found her calling from the moment she started working with adult learners. A former marketing major who found her way into working in higher education through a student assistant position in admissions, Scharlott is the current director of the Ursuline College Adult Program. “Once I started working with adults, it clicked for me that this was the population I wanted to work with,” Scharlott said. UCAP is geared specifically to helping adult learners, defined as students who have completed at least three years of professional work experience, earn their bachelor's degree.
