In Part One of this two‐part series ( see the January 2017 issue ), the authors discussed a pilot program to provide telemental health services to the University of Wyoming's distance learners. Among the first of its kind in the United States, the program is intended to offer telemental health services to distance learners that are similar to those provided to on‐campus students. Distance students are typically nontraditional learners, including older adults who may be returning to school to up‐skill or returning servicemen and ‐women seeking to finish a degree.
