My experience in the e‐commerce industry allowed me to bring an interesting and helpful perspective to my then‐new web marketing position at Elizabethtown College in 2010. I had previously served as an admissions representative at a career school before returning to school myself as an adult learner. So when I returned to a campus job, I was quickly able to connect the dots between online retailing and recruiting students. In this month's column, I'll share a few of those observations.
