Our academic programs are our product, but we can't overlook that our people are part of the package. We can leverage our faculty members' experiences in our marketing efforts by way of informative Web content. On many colleges' meet‐the‐faculty‐type pages, though, I've seen simply a list of faculty members' names, degrees, current company and email address. This doesn't tell us much, only that someone went through the motions of “introducing” the faculty. If your profile pages resemble a directory, consider revamping them using the following tips.
