Many adult students transfer from two‐year to four‐year institutions, but many also transfer from four‐year to two‐year institutions. Transferring the courses students need to complete their credentials from the four‐year college back to the two‐year institution doesn't just benefit the students — both schools also win. The two‐year colleges boost their completion rates. And officials at four‐year institutions can strengthen the partnerships that result in more students enrolling in their programs.
