“Adult students” are no longer the “nontraditional students,” since older learners are very much a part of higher education today. Adult learning is clearly here to stay. Unfortunately, recruiting older students is costlier than ever. The industry‐accepted average for recruiting a single adult learner is between $2,800 and $3,500. And that's going up.
