This paper describes a full range analysis of reinforced concrete slabs, which includes the effects of both geometric and material non‐linearities, using the finite element method. A computer program is described which has been used to analyse slabs previously tested by a number of investigators. The comparisons between the test results and the computer program are considered to be good.
