Nonprofits often look to corporate giving offices for cash donations, but increasingly, the support of their employees—via skills‐based or standard volunteer service projects—is sought just as much. And while some companies are quick to provide these resources, others need some convincing that it is in their best interests, as a company, to leverage their employee base in the name of community service.
