A new report from nonprofit software firm Blackbaud shows that, contrary to popular theory, individuals that donate to political campaigns during election years don't reduce their giving to charities; in fact, they tend to increase it. The report, Giving in an Election Year , was crafted to give insight into the long‐standing debate about the impact of political giving on charitable giving.
