New research from the Center for Effective Philanthropy shows foundations have plenty of room for improvement in their efforts to be transparent about performance measurement and sharing lessons learned. “Sharing What Matters: Foundation Transparency” finds that though they are open about their grantmaking processes and their goals and strategies, foundations don't share much information on what has and has not worked in their efforts, the CEP said.
