Twenty‐five patients were investigated for infravesical obstruction using videourodynamics and a modified differential pressure technique. Clinical symptoms correlated 86%, 71%, and 56% with urethral resistance, differential pressures, and fluoroscopy, respectively. We believe that differential bladder‐posterior urethral pressure (Pves‐Pura) recorded in erect position and with a fixed catheter is a valuable technique to investigate males suspected to have bladder neck‐prostatic obstruction.
