F response latencies were analyzed. Data were obtained from normal subject as well as in sequential studies recorded from the author. Based on series of 10 F responses, mean in comparision to minimal latency values are more reproducible and provide a statistically consistent measure of F wave conduction. The data also indicate an inherent variability in F wave latencies between groups of 10 responses. The results are consistent with F waves in normal subjects discharging from subpopulations of a motoneuron pool.
