Cinematic display solutions still lag behind consumer display technologies in terms of brightness and contrast, but new improvements could help them catch up. In this article, the second of a two‐part series, we explore challenges that must be addressed and potential solutions that could be incorporated to enable a mainstream rollout of HDR in cinema.
