ATP‐binding cassette (ABC) transporters are important for embryonic development. In this issue, Gokirmak et al. review insights and methods to study multidrug resistance (MDR)‐type ABC transporters in sea urchin embryos. This montage shows embryos expressing various MDR transporters—including ABCB1, ABCC1, ABCC9, and ABCG2, tagged with GFP, YFP, mCherry, and CFP, respectively—to identify where they reside. ABCC9, for example, localizes to large apical vesicles. A Leica SP8 confocal microscope was used to capture these images.
