We describe the reassignment of 13 C NMR signals of goyazensolide based upon 1D and 2D techniques, and discuss its conformation and stereochemistry as obtained from the analysis of its proton spin–spin coupling constants, NOE measurements and molecular mechanics calculations using MM3* force field.
