One unusual triterpenoid derivative, ilekudinchoside E (1), was isolated from the leaves of Ilex kudincha . The structure was established by various spectroscopic techniques, including one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR, HRTOFMS and CD spectra. Copyright © 2012 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
