13 C and 77 Se NMR spectra of thienoisoselenazoles, selenoloisothiazoles, selenoloisoselenazoles and thienoisothiazoles

The 13 C and 77 Se NMR spectra of eight new unsubstituted biheterocycles containing a thiophene or selenophene ring condensed with an isothiazole or isoselenazole ring were recorded. The assignments of the 13 C signals were made by the examination of chemical shifts, 1 J (CH) coupling constants and, for the quaternary carbons, on the basis of 1 J (C, 77 Se) coupling constants. The results are compared and discussed.
