The 13 C NMR spectra of five thieno[2,3‐ b ][1,5]benzodiazepines and two related benzodiazepinones have been recorded at 22.64 MHz using broad band and off‐resonance proton decoupling techniques. Spectral interpretation is facilitated by the presence of one (or more) fluorine substituents in the benzo‐ring.
