The structure of pyrazine partially oriented in a liquid crystal has been determined from its proton magnetic resonance spectrum utilising the 13 C satellites (at natural abundance). Carbon–carbon, carbon‐hydrogen and hydrogen–hydrogen internuclear distance ratios have been determined.
