The CH 3 ‐proton resonances for the 2,4‐ and 2,6‐isomers of toluene di‐isocyanate separate when hexafluorobenzene is used as a solvent. Integration of these absorptions over an expanded sweep scale gives the isomer ratio with an accuracy of ±0.5% over the range normally encountered with commercial samples.
