The 1 H and 13 C NMR spectra of the deoxyhemigossypol derivatives 4‐isopropyl‐2,3‐dimethoxy‐6‐methylnaphthalene, 4‐isopropyl‐2,3‐dimethoxy‐6‐methyl‐1‐naphthaldehyde and 2,3‐dihydroxy‐4‐isopropyl‐6‐methyl‐1‐naphthaldehyde were assigned using one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR techniques, including DEPT, 1 H NOE and 1 H 13 C HETCORR spectroscopy.
