7 Li, 23 Na and 13 C solid‐state NMR spectroscopy under static and magic angle spinning conditions was used to study the salt complexes of lithium chloride, lithium bromide, lithium perchlorate and lithium nitrate with 12‐crown‐4 and of sodium nitrate with 15‐crown‐5, Structural and dynamic features of the compounds are discussed, focusing on the quadrupolar interaction and temperature‐dependent phenomena.
