A series of neutral cis ‐[ML 2 ] complexes, where M = Pd(II) and Pt(II) and L = para ‐substituted N , N ‐dialkyl‐ N ′‐benzoyl‐thio‐urea anion, were examined by means of 13 C and 195 Pt NMR. Unambiguous assignment of the thiocarbonyl carbon atom in these complexes was achieved with 13 C isotopic enrichment and the resolved n J ( 195 Pt, 13 C) coupling satellites.
