The 1 H and 13 C NMR spectra of several saturated polynitropolycyclic molecules were unambiguously assigned using aromatic solvent‐induced shifts, NOE difference spectra, 1 H– 1 H COSY spectra and 2D 13 C– 1 H shift correlated spectra, optimized either for one‐bond or long‐range 13 C– 1 H couplings.
