Carboxylato‐bridged dinuclear platinum(II) complexes of the type [Pt 2 X 2 (μ‐OOCR′) 2 (PR 3 ) 2 ] [X = Cl, I; R′ = CH 3 , CF 3 ; PR 3 = PEt 3 n , PPr 3 n , PBu 3 n , PMe 2 Ph, PMePh 2 , PPh 3 , P( p ‐Tol) 3 ] were prepared and investigated by 31 P and 195 Pt NMR spectroscopy. The NMR data indicate that there is considerable platinum‐platinum interaction in these complexes.
