The 1 H nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of kirromycin in acetone‐ d 6 and in buffered D 2 O have been assigned using a range of one‐ and two‐dimensional NMR techniques. The 13 C NMR spectrum of kirromycin in acetone‐ d 6 has also been assigned, and compared with the 13 C NMR spectrum of its N ‐methyl analogue, aurodox.
