Abstract The configurations and preferred conformations of some diastereoisomeric perhydronaphthaleno[2,1‐ e ]pyrido[1,2‐c][1,3]oxazines have been assigned by 13 C NMR spectroscopy. These results require reversal of two previous tentative configurational assignments based on 1 H NMR spectroscopy, and also indicate the presence of non‐chair conformations for cis‐anti‐cis‐syn‐cis ‐ and trans‐syn‐cis‐syn‐cis ‐perhydronaphthaleno[2,1‐ e ]pyrido[1,2 ‐ c ][1,3]oxazine.
