1 H and 13 C NMR spectra of pyrrolo[1,2‐ a ]quinoxaline and seven of its derivatives have been measured. Assignments of the carbon resonances have been made by correlation of chemical shift and coupling constant data for the pyrroloquinoxalines with those of structurally related pyrrolo[1,2‐ a ]pyrazines and imidazo[1,2‐ a ]quinoxaline. Spin‐lattice relaxation times for the carbons of pyrrolo[1,2‐ a ]quinoxaline are also reported.
