The 13 C chemical shifts and PC coupling constants of nine 2‐oxo‐ or 2‐thio‐2‐, 3‐, 4‐, 5‐ or 6‐substituted 1,3,2‐oxazaphosphorinanes, with various groups attached to the ring carbon phosphorus and nitrogen atoms have been analysed. Some aspects of the stereochemistry of these compounds are verified.
