15 N NMR spectra, at natural isotopic abundance, of synthetic bilatrienes‐abc and 2,3‐dihydrobilatrienes‐abc and also those of partial structures are presented. The implications of the 15 N chemical shifts on structural features, especially tautomerism, are discussed and compared with results obtained by x‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
