A rectangular waveguide with a double L‐shaped septa has recently been proposed as a broadband transmission medium. The effects of the septa dimensions on its characteristics are investigated in this article. Numerical data that would be useful for application of the DLSG have been presented. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
