The mutual coupling between cylindrical‐circular microstrip antennas is studied by applying the cavity‐model analysis and the reaction theorem. Expressions of the mutual coupling coefficients for the E‐plane and H‐plane coupling casés are presented. Theoretical results are calculated, and the curvature effects on the mutual coupling are discussed. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
