This article presents a new model of drain current generator suitable for pseudomorphic FETs. The modeling of this generator is based on the integration versus V GS of the rf small‐signal transconductance g m . Pulsed measurements of I DS (V DS , V GS ) are performed to verify the validity of the simulation results obtained when using the MDS simulator. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
