The cavity‐model solutions for mutual coupling between two probe‐fed cylindrical‐rectangular microstrip antennas are presented. Typical numerical results of the mutual impedance and the mutual coupling coefficient for different curvature radii are shown. Results are found to be in good agreement with the full‐wave solutions. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
