Using a modified conformal mapping technique, analytical formulas for the quasi‐TEM parameters of slot‐coupled double‐sided microstrip (SCDSMS) lines are presented for the first time. The proposed even‐mode expressions have an accuracy of 3%, when compared with the existing finite‐element data, and are very useful in CAD applications. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
