Results based on spectral‐domain full‐wave analysis are presented for several microstrip antennas with multidielectric layers. The geometries include (a) rectangular patch with two superstrates, (b) rectangular patch with a superstrate and an unwanted air space, and (c) rectangular patch with a superstrate and two substrates. Comparison with measurement is given. © 1995 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
