The dispersion characteristics of partly loaded circular chirowaveguides are analyzed. The cross section of the waveguide is divided into two coaxial regions loaded with chiral and achiral materials, respectively. The dispersion curves are carried out for the cases of chiral rod or ring loading; the influences of the ratio of radii are discussed as well. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.
